Entries are invited for Bournemouth University’s Connect India Awards 2018. Two awards and one fellowship are available this year, each with a total value of £1,000 attached.
Journalist of Change
To be awarded to a journalist for India-related work, this seeks to recognise excellence in human interest journalism published in 2017 that has inspired—or has the potential to inspire—social change. The amount will facilitate in-bound mobility for the winner, allowing him/her to spend up to a fortnight on our campus in England, participating in active programmes, sharing ideas, and exploring collaborative possibilities with us. Global Talent Young India
To be awarded to an Indian school student (14 years of age or over), this award seeks to encourage young Indian talent, building on our ongoing Global Talent Programme. Three prizes totalling £1,000 will be awarded in this category: the winner will receive vouchers worth £500, the first runner-up vouchers for £300, and the second runner-up for £200. All recipients will be announced on 16 February, 2018 at the British Council in New Delhi, during the closing ceremony and dinner of the Festival of Learning India 2018.
